In the fall of 2019, Dr. Farone, a research team of five students, and numerous volunteers began constructing the educational apiary at Grove City College. The photos below show the beginning stages of the project, which included cleaning up the area, planting the pollinator-friendly flower beds and trees, and making a gravel path through the garden.

Our project has since expanded, and there are plenty of exciting things happening at Oliver Apiary! The other sections of "Apiary Research" have plenty of information about what we are currently doing, Dr. Farone, and bee research.
